Senior Portraits are always loads of fun, but Senior Portraits in the Pearl District with Brittney was a blast! She may not know it – most teens don’t ;) – but she has a wonderful sense of who she is. Pair that with great style, a sultry stare and legs for days -AND- you’ve got amazing pictures!!  Enjoy a little sneak peek and the slide show below!

It was wonderful meeting Patti and her sweet family!  Their little cutie is a new walker and fast on her feet… heading straight for puddles whenever she had a chance :) I LOVE adventurous kids!!  I had a blast bopping around Millennium Park with them.  Next time though, I’m thinking we’ll trade in the cute threads for rain jackets and boots – this way, she can stomp around in the puddles all day long!  What do ya say?  Portraits, Portland style!

Family Portraits with Train Tracks

Enjoy your sneak peek.  The slide show and gallery will be up soon!

A Sneak Peek!

What better way to celebrate a {dry} spring day here in Portland, than to head to the park for a bit of family fun?!  Having experienced many, many days of grey skies and rain drops – we lucked out with a morning of sunshine :) I had a blast hanging out with the Williams family at Waluga Park. The park offers a very kid friendly play structure surrounded by a variety of oak trees, grass fields and trails.  And believe me, we traveled it all!

The Slide Show:

One of the simplicities I enjoy most in life, is witnessing true, loving interactions between parents and their kids.  As a family portrait photographer, I am lucky enough to witness this often, and to be able to capture this love for my clients.  Happy Me.  Thanks Leanne & Bronk!  I hope you enjoy your slide show and beautiful pictures :) To check out your entire gallery of images, please click HERE

Happy Mothers Day Yolanda!

Gwyn is one of the luckiest little girls I know :)  Yoli, you are truly what mothers are made of: patience, understanding and an endless supply of smiles, laughter and an un-waivering love.  This – not only for your own lil beauty, but for every child you coach!  We all consider ourselves truly blessed to be inspired by you!  I’m so happy we were able to get out and romp around the park – I needed to capture the magic you two have created!

San Deguito Park in Solana Beach is the perfect place for Mother Daughter Portraits.

For those of you wondering, these pictures were captured at San Deguito Park in Solana Beach… just a few blocks away from TRC Gymnastics.  It’s really a wonderful place for family portraits.  Kids can be kids and romp through two separate play grounds at the upper level – both surrounded by fields of grass and gorgeous trees.  The lower level offers rolling hills, a gazebo and pond to feed the fisheeees.  Family Portraits are all about capturing the interactions between loved ones… true moments you’ll want to hold on to.    Enjoy!  ~ erica

It was so much fun heading back down to TRC Gymnastics for pictures!  Congratulations all on making the team!!  I hope everyone is enjoying a fun and successful season.  You have made so much progress in your gymnastics and that totally shows in your pictures – they’re awesome!!  So awesome, that I’m already looking forward to next year ;)  SO… I’m leaving a little sneak peak below of my favorites.  The entire gallery will be up on Thursday – make sure to check your inbox for details.  For now, feel free to share and tag the images below!

Amanda will be introducing us to the Chloe + Isabel Jewelry Trunk Show. The brand offers a wide variety of both timeless and modern styles, allowing you to accessorize in your own unique way. This will be a casual and fun way to try on all of the latest styles and socialize with a great group of people!

Proceeds will be benefiting young girls in Nicaragua. They live in filth, poverty and hopelessness, being subjected to contaminated air that will significantly shorten their lives. Many young girls are susceptible to sex trading in exchange for their families to gain first access to new loads of garbage. These girls ages range from 8-17 years old. To see a video for more information on these children please visit:

While you’ll be getting beautiful jewelry, your money will be going to a beautiful cause.

Please RSVP so that we can plan accordingly as space is limited. Catered snacks and beverages will be served. While the festivities will begin at 6:00 PM, feel free to come by at any time between 6:00-8:00pm. Come early if you want to be one of the first 15 guests to arrive, who will automatically be entered into a drawing for 30% off one piece of jewelry!
